Our Story

Proum’s Kitchen began in 2020, during one of the most uncertain times in our lives. As a Cambodian woman, a mother of two, and someone trying to find her way through the challenges of the pandemic, life looked a little different than I had imagined. Finding steady work wasn't easy, and there were moments when the future felt uncertain.

But in the middle of it all, I found comfort in something simple: baking.

What started as a passion in my own kitchen soon became something I wanted to share with others. I began making cheesecakes, learning through practice, trying different flavors, and adjusting each recipe until it tasted just the way I loved. There was something special about turning simple ingredients into something that could bring a smile to someone's face. Little by little, what began as a personal hobby became the beginning of Proum’s Kitchen.

As a Cambodian woman and mother, family has always been an important part of my life. I wanted to build something meaningful, something I could be proud of and share with others. I never imagined that my love for baking would grow into a business, but I'm grateful every day that I took that first step. What began during a difficult season has become a journey filled with learning, growth, and the joy of sharing something sweet.
